Picking the Perfect Spring 2021 Manicure/Pedicure Color

Updated: Mar 12, 2021

The Allure team has come up with the hottest colors for you to try out at the nail salon this Spring season! Keep reading to see suggested color choices from color experts and Allure’s chosen combo choices.

Welcome to Allured Thoughts, Allure Nail Bar’s very own blog! We will be covering topics about anything and everything nail, nail salon, nail technician, and the industry related. Thank you for taking your time to read what we’ve generated. Without further ado, let’s jump into the topic of this month!

Pantone (recognized as the world’s expert in color) have chosen the colors below for this season. We are seeing a theme of rustic burnt colors in most color combinations which we are absolutely loving!

Any of these colors would make super trendy colors for your manicure and pedicure.

“The best color in the world is the one that looks good on you”
- Coco Chanel

A popular question we get asked often is: “Are manicure and pedicure colors supposed to match?”

The short answer, no it does not have to match. As a matter of fact, most clients don’t match! It has become an increasingly popular trend to wear different colors on your hand and toes. Although this has been the case, we do recommend choosing colors that complement each other. Nevertheless, there are still clients who have a preference of matching manicure and pedicure colors and that’s okay too!

Another popular question we get asked is, “what shade matches best with my skin tone?” This question requires a more elaborate answer, which we will get into in a future blog post. Stay tuned!

Are you a fan of the suggested colors by Pantone? What is your favorite color or color combos suggested by Pantone? Do you match your manicure and pedicure colors?

Let us know in the comments!

Curated below are colors combined by our salon, inspired by the Pantone 2021 color trends for spring & summer 2021.

Burnt coral & Raspberry Sorbet is a good choice for those that want a fresh spring statement.

Buttercream and Green Ash is recommended for those looking for a more muted pop of spring color.

Cerulean and Inkwell is suggested for someone that prefers an edgier spring look.

We find that a lot of clients tend to be more adventurous with their pedicure color choices, and more muted for the manicure color. This brings us to create:
